Six things that change
after this program.

A repeatable preparation process

A clear method for structuring any presentation — so you spend less time preparing and more time refining.

2–3 polished stories ready to use

Stories built around narrative frameworks that you can integrate immediately into future presentations and pitches.

Design principles you'll apply every time

A set of visual principles and practical resources for creating slides that support your message — not distract from it.

More confidence in front of an audience

Techniques for managing nerves, building presence, and handling questions — practised in a safe and supportive environment.

Direct feedback on your own presentation

You bring a real presentation you're working on. You leave with specific, actionable recommendations from the trainer.

A different way of thinking about communication

From "presenting information" to "influencing decisions" — a shift in how you approach every conversation with an audience.

Four modules.
Two days.

Each module builds on the previous one. By the end of day two, you have worked through every aspect of a high-impact presentation — structure, story, design, and delivery.

Module 01

Persuasive Presentations

You will learn to prepare clear messages, structure content, and tailor your approach in a way that moves your audience to action.

Most presentations fail before they start — because the preparation focuses on what to say, not on what the audience needs to hear. This module gives you a systematic approach to building persuasive, well-structured messages from the ground up.

  • Preparing your presentation
  • Tailoring to your audience
  • Structuring the presentation
  • Persuasive techniques
  • Attention-grabbing strategies
  • Establishing credibility
  • Beginning and ending well
Module 02

Business Storytelling

You'll turn data and ideas into relevant, memorable stories — and leave with 2–3 polished stories ready to use.

Data without narrative is forgettable. This module teaches you how to use narrative frameworks to make your content stick — including how to present numbers, case studies, and complex ideas as stories that connect with your audience.

  • Elements of an inspiring story
  • Narrative structures and techniques
  • Building the epic thread
  • Using metaphors and analogies
  • Turning data into stories
Module 03

Presentation Design

You'll master design principles and express complex ideas with compelling visuals — and have a set of resources to use from this point on.

Slides are a communication tool, not a safety net. This module covers the principles of visual communication and shows you how to design slides that support your message — not compete with it.

  • Design principles for presentations
  • Structuring visual content
  • Types of slides and visuals
  • Visualising complex data
  • Choosing visual elements
  • Design tools and practical resources
Module 04

Public Speaking

You'll develop stage presence, manage nerves, and deliver with confidence, authenticity, and genuine connection to your audience.

Delivery is where everything else becomes visible. This module is the most practical of the four — heavy on real-time practice and direct feedback on your own presentations. You will perform, receive specific coaching, and improve visibly within the two days.

  • Stage presence and body language
  • Expressive delivery techniques
  • Managing nerves and emotions
  • Handling difficult questions
  • Mistakes to avoid
  • Presence, authenticity and connection

Practical from the first hour.

This is not a lecture. From the first hour, you are working on real presentations — your own material, your own challenges, your own audience situations. Each concept is introduced with enough context to understand why it works, then immediately applied.

The group size of 10 is deliberate. It creates enough diversity to learn from each other, and enough space for personal attention and specific feedback from the trainer. By the end of day two, every participant has presented multiple times and received direct coaching.

You bring a presentation you are currently working on. You leave with it substantially improved — and with a clear method for doing the same with every presentation that follows.

This program works well
for these situations.

Professionals who present regularly

Consultants, managers, analysts, and team leads who present to clients, boards, or leadership teams — and want to do it with more clarity, confidence, and impact.

"I know my content but I lose people." / "I want my presentations to actually drive decisions."

People with a fear of public speaking

The program is deliberately designed to be a safe, supportive environment. The group is small. The structure is gradual. Many participants say this was the first place they felt comfortable practising in front of others.

"I avoid presenting whenever I can." / "I know the anxiety is holding me back."

Those preparing for a specific high-stakes moment

A board presentation, a pitch, a keynote, a promotion conversation — the program gives you a real presentation to work on and specific feedback to act on before the moment arrives.

"I have an important presentation coming up and I want to get it right."

Teams and organisations

This program can be run as an in-house training for your team — adapted to your industry, your examples, and your specific communication challenges. Get in touch to discuss.

"We want to improve how our team communicates externally." / "Our presentations are inconsistent in quality."

From past editions.

"This was one of the best trainings I've attended at Deloitte. Iulian managed to hold my attention for two full days and the content was among the most useful I've received — professionally and personally."

"The only training where I can wholeheartedly say that everything was excellent. I thought two full days would be too much. I was wrong. Completely engaging from start to finish."

"I liked that it forced us to learn. I believe each of us gained something in the two days. The balance between theory and practice was exactly right."

"I now know what needs to happen before the presentation — it gives you the confidence and a clear foundation that makes the whole process easier and the outcome much more predictable."

Questions people ask
before registering.

What do I need to prepare before coming?

Bring a presentation you are currently working on — or one you expect to deliver in the near future. It doesn't need to be finished. The program gives you time to develop and refine it during the sessions, with specific feedback from the trainer.

Is this suitable for someone with a fear of public speaking?

Yes — and it's one of the most common profiles in the room. The program is designed to feel safe and supportive. The group is small, the progression is gradual, and the environment is genuinely non-judgmental. Many participants say this was the first place they felt comfortable presenting in front of others.

How has this program been developed?

The program has been running for 15 years and has helped hundreds of professionals from more than 50 well-known companies. It has evolved continuously — shaped by classroom experience and participant feedback — and integrates current best practices in communication, storytelling, and presentation design.

Can this be run in-house for my team?

Yes. Any of the four modules — or the full two-day program — can be adapted for your team, with examples and exercises tailored to your industry, your audience types, and your specific communication challenges. Get in touch to discuss your situation.

What resources will I receive?

All participants receive printed course materials during the workshop, plus a digital resource library after. These include the frameworks covered during the program, recommended reading and tools, and reference materials you can use for long-term reinforcement.

Who is the trainer?

Iulian Olariu — trainer and facilitator with 20 years of full-time practice, having worked with over 15,000 professionals across 100+ organisations including McKinsey, Microsoft, Vodafone, and Deloitte. He has been running this program for 15 years. More in the About section.
